On October 9th and 10th BerlinBalticNordic.net took a delegation consisting of startups and established companies for our 48h-programme to Warsaw. The group visited creative spots, such as HubHub Warsaw, the Google Campus, institutions like Coders Lab and startups such as Unamo, and during presentations by experts of the region, got a keen insight into the Polish startup ecosystem. Moreover, some of the local heros – IndaHash, Fitqbe and PRowly – introduced us to their projects and gladly stayed afterwards to talk to our participants.
At the BBN.net Networking Lunch our participants had the opportunity to mingle with Startup Poland Founders, Business Angels and representatives of the VC Funds and later on we enjoyed a Get-Together with local startups at the first co-working space founded in Warsaw, Reaktor. In a relaxed atmosphere, our delegation and the local representatives had the opportunity to get to know each other and exchange knowledge.
As always at our 48h- programmes, on the second day we had set up individual meetings for our participants to give them the opportunity to directly get in touch with companies their projects matched with and possibly build up future business cooperations.
The Polish Startups report offers a detailed perspective on the expanding Polish startup industry. Our tour was a great opportunity to on-site get a deeper understanding of the ecosystem and showed that Polish startup momentum surely is growing very fast and is rich in innovation, tech talent and moreover the creative spirit to go after your idea.
We will definitely come back to Warsaw and meanwhile invite everyone who is interested in the topic or in getting connected to our partners in Warsaw to contact us any time.
Thank you to everyone who made our stay that interesting, efficient and fun:
Creatives Loop, HubHub Warsaw, Startup Poland, Inovo Fund, Unamo, IndaHash, Fitqbe, PRowly, Reaktor Warsaw, Google Campus and Coders Lab.
