From 30 November to 1 December, BerlinBalticNordic.net will be on the Berlin and Brandenburg information stand. It will also bring with it the successful event format Investors’ Dinner, which the project team will organise on-site.

Slush, Europe’s largest start-up event, is a non-profit movement which was initiated by students and originally founded to change attitudes towards entrepreneurship. It now has 15,000 participants, 1,700 start-ups and 800 investors, and takes place annually in Helsinki. In 2015, the first Slush was organised in Tokyo and Beijing, and in 2016 it expanded to include Singapore.

BerlinBalticNordic.net, the international initiative from the industry network media:net berlinbrandenburg, has set itself the task of bringing the Berlin games, digital media and start-up sectors together with the Nordic and neighbouring Baltic countries. At this year’s Slush in Helsinki, the initiative will be represented at Berlin Partner’s trade fair stand and will also bring the established event format Investors’ Dinner to the Finnish capital. Together with partners from EIT Digital, the evening will see 27 selected European venture capitalists around a table with 32 European start-ups from countries including Germany, Estonia, Sweden, France, Belgium, the UK, Finland and Lithuania.
