The event will take place on the 16-17 April 2018 at Tallinn Creative Hub. With our previous event we broke all the records, having over 500 attendees from 189 gaming companies of which half were from Estonia and others from neighbor countries: Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden.
So far, GDD remains the largest industry event in the Baltic States. But we want to grow even further. Next year, having a larger space gives us more opportunities to provide exclusive services for major event partners and double the number of teams presenting their games at the Game Village showcase.
First of all, we made this event to connect local companies with the global industry. Many local developers don’t travel to international conferences, so we decided to bring it on their doorstep.
Why you should consider participation at GDD 2018?
1. Our conference is focused on bringing together developers with publishers and investors. Local studios don’t travel a lot to larger events like Casual Connect or White Nights, but they gladly attend a conference next to their doorstep. If your goal is to meet new people and get new ideas, this is the right place.
2. Hiring opportunities. If you’re looking for talent, then Estonia is the best to look at. We are worldwide famous for our IT specialists, who developed such services as Skype, TransferWise and Taxify. At GameDev Days we offer a free to use career stand where you can place your hiring ads.
3. A place where you can openly talk to people and share your ideas. We provide a variety of networking opportunities, therein dedicated meeting spaces where you can privately talk over a cup of coffee, Pitch & Match meeting system (unlimited for Business pass owners) and afterwork events.
GDD is the best place to meet developers that you will never see at any other industry conference. It is a great opportunity for you to make new connections and get inspiration from the mixture of Nordic and Eastern European culture.
